Ive finally decided to not use the 6 point bolt in cage
im now going for a full weld in cage and tie up all the suspension mounting points
should hopefully be a trick new rear anti roll bar appearing as well
the shell will be back very early august

Title : Strengthening the shell |

The engine/gearbox and fuel system is now out ready for bracing the shell
i found a small crack on the nearside chassis leg so that will get strengthened
also the rear wishbone mount in the middle of the car isnt as strong as it could be so this will be

A new quadrant CNC machined from aircraft grade aluminium will be getting made soon
This is to get round the problem of alot of people snapping quadrants using the mk5 escort pedal mod
As you can see we have got it drawn up so it should be getting made

Title : Getting ready for the summer again |

Due to moving house work was put on hold for a while
the better engine should be getting rebuilt in a few weeks
while that engine gets done the existing engine and gearbox are coming out to strengthen up the shell
A new full roll cage is going to get

Title : Now tucked up for the winter |

After we started getting the roads salted before xmas i have took the car off the road for a few months till the better weather comes along
hopefully before the summer ill get the other engine rebuilt but depends on how many times im going snowboarding!!
